Mine Clicker Overhaul Progress Update #1

So for the past few days I been working hard on getting the mining, smithing and crafting system complete and im happy to announce i have it complete. All thats left for core features is the worker system and the research/upgrade system. Over the next two weeks I will try to get these systems complete and hopefully I can start getting the closed alpha ready for testers.
I don't have any screenshots or videos yet but as soon as I feel like the game is ready to be seen ill post some here for you to all see.

Mine Clicker Overhaul

Lately I have been working on the overhaul for Mine Clicker in my spare time when i'm not working at walmart. There will be a few changes in the overhaul but for the most part it will stick to the core experience of Mine Clicker.

One of the changes we are doing for Mine Clicker is the whole upgrade system. We are planning on changing it over to a upgrades/perk system. Every time you levelup you will gain a research point. You can also hire researchers to get you research points faster.

Perks - Perks are permanent things to unlock like the ability to find gems and chests while gathering stuff as well as the random things machine.

Upgrades - Upgrades are for things like worker speed and gains per click.

The entire game is going to get a makeover as well. We are upgrading the UI to the new UI system unity now uses. We are also going 3D! with voxel graphics made in the awesome program Qubicle.

Another addition we are adding is usable items and an overhaul of the inventory system. You can now gain items like potions or food that will increase your stats like luck so you have a higher chance of finding gems or chests.

I would post screenshots for everyone to see but its far from ready for that.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates lately... work has been kind of getting in the way of my game dev.
